Pausa
A game about breathing. Really.
What Is Pausa?
Pausa is a short, single-player game for stepping back from the noise. The breathing visualizer responds to your input rather than running on a fixed timer — so if breathing slowly is difficult, the game follows you, not the other way around. No fail states. No scores. No urgency.
The soundscape adjusts to your pace. The visuals expand and contract without flicker. The reduced-motion toggle disables all animation if you need it. Play for five minutes or stay longer — Pausa holds no record of how you played.
- Single-player · 5–30 minute sessions, or open-ended
- No story to follow, no skills to build — just time at your own pace
- Runs on any PC built after 2015, integrated graphics included
Accessibility Features
These features were in the first internal build, not added during QA. The colorblind presets were verified with Coblis simulation. The reduced-motion toggle disables all particle and scale animation. The audio description option narrates the breathing phase aloud.
